We have received this pic a few minutes ago. It has been taken at Palazzo Strozzi during the set-up of the epochal upcoming exhibition dedicated to Pontormo and Rosso Fiorentino (Pontormo e Rosso Fiorentino. Divergenti vie della “maniera”, from 8 March to 20 July 2014). Instead of the famous Pala Pucci by Pontormo the two workers, as tall as the characters on the scene, seem indeed to be carrying a group of people strangely dress-up and extremely worried for what is going on. This has made us think that it is always safer to move people rather than artworks, isn’t it?
